The BIG Wedding day

Wow!! It's been way too long. Well I have a lot of catching up to do. While I was in Utah. Ben's little Brother Blake got married to Taryn Jones. It was such a wonderful event. Mostly because all of the family was together and yes that meant Ben got to leave Ohio for the weekend and spend some time with us. They had a nice wedding dinner the night before and they couldn't of asked for better weather on their wedding day. It was so fun! They looked so beautiful and happy. We are so excited to have Taryn in the family.

The Rabe girls went and got pedicures the day before the wedding ( a tradition). It was so to sit and relax with them before the big day!

After the wedding dinner we went and got some custard, we had so much fun just being together...oh and Nicole we still owe you for the custard. Thanks!! We'll get some cash to you in the mail.

My Muse

This is my first post ever so I hope I do it right. As you all know Kendra is one of the most loving and giving people in the world. I am so lucky to have found her, she truly is my muse. She has always inspired me to be better so that she and I and our family can all be together forever. We have been apart these past few weeks because of my schooling and they have been the most torturous weeks of my life. My only saving grace is Skype and this blog! I look forward to seeing her beautiful face every chance I get. Kenji thinks its funny when I use clichés but she IS the girl of my dreams. I wish I could be with you for mothers day to be able to tell you how proud I am of you for the spectacular job that you are doing of raising Sophie. You are the best mother. I am very excited to be expanding our family. I can't wait to see all the amazing things that you will teach our son.

Moo...Zoo!!

The other day we took full advantage of the beautiful weather and went to the Zoo (sadly so did every feild trip in UT.) It was so fun even with the packs of children. Sophie fully enjoyed herself and refused to be in the stroller...she wanted to see as close as possible. She was so cute, she was so into this year, she love the Zebra's the best. Who knew she liked 'em? We had fun and then ate at Hire's (one of my fav's) it was a fun day! We are loving all the time we get to spend with family here.

Ben Ben Ben!

We were so lucky to have Ben fly in for the weekend. It was short but so worth it. It had been 5 weeks since we had seen him. Me and Sophie were missing him like crazy! So it was so fun to have him, even if it was only for a day and half. We had a busy schedule. Ben requested we eat at Cafe Rio for lunch with my family. After lunch he went golfing with his dad and brother. Then later we went to dinner with the Rabe's at Winger's (another fav of Ben's). Later that night after Sophie went to Bed we went to the X-men movie, not my choice but went for the sake of Ben. On Sunday we just hung-out with family (oddly enough my brother and sister-in-law decided to come last minute so we had the whole family together..after 8 months.) It was a little busy but so much fun!

I finally got to meet my sweet little niece after 6 months. Elsie is so dang cute!!

B O W L

This is the word I have heard a lot lately. After we took Sophie bowling at fat cats she seems to talk about it daily. She was so cute, she loved it! When it wasn't her turn you could find in on the flooring dancing to the music. She was so fun to watch. She had a blast and really wants her dad to Bowl. We'll have to go when he gets back.

We had a fun Easter with family. Except Ben ( of course), we were sure missing him at all the Egg Hunts and family events. We had a fun Easter Egg hunt at the Rabe's the adults had one which was very sweet and Sophie had her private hunt. She took full advantage getting every egg possible. Then she colored eggs with my mom and was very strict about what colors to use when. Then we had a hunt at my parents house also her very own. She needs her cousins around to make it a little harder. She also loved it and loved everything in her basket. We had a fun day with family and probably a litte too much candy.

VEGAS baby!!!

The Rabe gals went to Vegas for a pure girl trip..(-Jill we wish she could have came, it wasn't the same without her). It was so much fun! We Layed out, shopped, got pedi's, got MAC make-overs, ate and ate and ate at yummy resturants and just had fun relaxing and laughing together. Thank you Rabe's for the fun trip and thank you mom for watching Sophie!
