we already MISS you!

Today Ben left for his peds rotation in Columbus, Ohio. He has to be gone for 11 WHOLE weeks. We are so sad that he has to be gone for such a long time. We are going to miss him so much. Thank goodness for skype and Utah..... me and Sophie are headed to Utah while he is gone. We are hoping it won't make the time seem as long. We LOVE you & already MISS you!!

It's A..........

we are so excited to announce that we are having a BOY!!! we are so happy he is healthy and measuring right on time. Sophie told us she was going to have a brother, Wow! She was right all along. We can't wait for this sweet little addition to our family to come!

East TN

Last week was my sweet friend Lindsey's birthday, so me and Sophie decided why not go celebrate with her in Knoxville. It was so much fun! Linds did a good job showing us Downtown Knoxville, Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mtns. It was so fun to get away for a couple of days and have some girl time. Plus Sophie loved Brielle and wanted to do everything she did. It was a fun trip for both of us, we will have to make the trip over to East TN more often. Thanks Linds for showing us good time!

Good Night....

The other night Ben came home from work just before Sophie was going to bed and wanted to play with her, I noticed it being very quite... I went in to check on them and Ben had fallen asleep. Little did he know she was tucking him into bed with all of her favorite toys.

Birthday Girl

Well this year so was much fun! I think Sophie understood that it was her birthday so it was lots of fun! We started the day off with her very favorite waffles (I think she was more into the balloons than the food), then we went and got her haircut (her very first one). Thankfully I brought the dvd player so it was manageable. Then we went out to lunch, then we came back and Soph took a nap. After she woke up Ben was home so we opened presents. Then we headed to Chucky Cheeses for her party with her cousins. She was so cute at her party all she wanted to do was keep playing all the games and get more tickets. We finally got her to come over to eat some cake and open presents. I think we will be making many more trips back to good old Chucky Cheeses!!

Luckily it was so nice outside she got to go out and test her new bike. She is also sporting the apron my mom made her and continues to wear it daily.

a visit from Mi Mi

We were so lucky enough to have my mom come over Sophie's Birthday. We had so much fun! Sophie didn't want anything to do with me, just Mi Mi (it was kind of a nice break). It was so fun because the weather was in the 70's while my mom was here. (now I am really craving Spring!) So we got to go to the park, take walks and enjoy the nice weather. We also had fun decorating Valentine cookie's, eating at some yummy places, shopping and of course celebrating Sophie's Birthday.

Today is Sophie's 2nd Birthday...WHAT! I can't believe she is already 2. It feels like just the other day we had her. We are so lucky to have her in our family. She has one cute personality. She keeps us entertained all day by dancing and making us laugh. We LOVE her so much and hope she has the best brithday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!..aka BIG GIRL she tells us she's not a baby anymore.
