Some reasons we love Nashville
-Mac & Cheese is actually considered a vegetable here.
-The fire flies help us see at night.
-They just passed a law making it legal to eat road kill.(Finally!)
-Ben is highly accepted when he sports his cowboy boots (interestingly enough he is ridiculed when he wears his skater shoe's, apparently nobody wears them here and they think he is wearing big slippers.) Go figure!!
-Sophie gets plenty of attention from all the friendly strangers.
-You can pretty much order any kind of food deep fried. YUMMMM!!
-We have some odd bugs in the trees outside our place that make the sound similar to sprinklers. It's very entertaining!
-Chick-fil-a's are everywhere! They produce a good kids meal.
-All the tree's make it difficult to see the mountains in UT. (It is honestly one of the prettiest places we have ever seen.)
-You can purchase anything in the color orange. Go Volunteers!!!
-Everyone here is "in" the music business.
-They have church's the size of mall's.
-You can say anything you want about someone as long as you end it in "Bless their heart."
-It is truly such a beautiful, fun, good place to raise a family. We hope ya'll come visit us!

I love your list. Tennessee sounds so charming. I don't know about the sprinkler bugs. I fear most insects. I need to call you soon. Maybe I will call you from work so when you see the number don't be afraid to answer...if you know what I mean.
Sounds great! Count us in! Loved the list! We'll definately need to come and see you! We'd heard about the roadkill thing and I seriously couldn't believe it! I mean that it was eatable. :) Funny about the boots. You guys are great! Love you!
Cute list Kenj!! I would love to visit, and hopefully run into Tim and Faith....although then she may find out he is my boyfriend:)
Hello Rabes! I saw your comment so I had to google your blog. Now I can blog stalk you! We were so excited to hear you went to Tennessee! But I hear you have family there, which is not fair at all. We can relate with you re: the noisy bugs. We've got our fair share of them in NC as well. And Chick-fil-a is a weekly meal for us now. Tuesday night is kids' night!! Sophie is the cutest thing. She and Oliver definitely need to get together some day. This ended up being way too long. Much love from the Gladwells.
Hey Kenj! This is Sarah (gillio) I never got to say bye to you after Nordstroms that one day! I am glad you guys are having a good time in TENN! You little one is so dang cute! anyway, love you! See you some day!!!
