Spring Breakin'

During Spring Break my mom came out to visit us. It was so much fun, we did Easter egg hunts, went the zoo, made a little dress for Sophie, played at the park, went on many walks, baked- a must when my mom is in town, took her to our favorite ice cream shop sweet cici's (twice), shopped-of course and pretty much stayed outside the entire time. It was fabulous weather (and still is). Sophie took full advantage of my mom being here and had so much fun playing with her. Sophie was so sad to see her go she was persistent we could get on her flight with her..which was hard not to. It was a sad goodbye. We love it when MiMi comes!

We had a beautiful Easter dinner at the Rich's followed by a grand Easter Egg hunt. I have never seen Sophie so determined. That girl got the most eggs and was by far the youngest. We have a little competitor..like her daddy.

high maintenance

Yes, this is my sweet 8 month baby. I adore so many things about him. However he is also referred to as "the high maintenance baby" at the gym I go to. Here's why- he prefers to be held all day, and when he isn't being held all attention needs to be directed at him. Graham has caused my left arm to get significantly stronger than my right. I have been amazed at all the things I can do with one hand; ie: cook an entire meal, take Sophie to the bathroom, do laundry, type on the computer and many more things. I do love all 20 pounds of him. I mean look at that face... how can you not hold him. I just hope he doesn't expect to be held into his college years.

Wait!! We can't leave yet, I forgot to put on my lip gloss.
Me- Sophie if you are really good I'll let you use some of mine.
Soph- but mom yours doesn't have sprinkles (meaning sparkles) in it.

I had no idea lip gloss was a necessity for nursery.

it's that good..

yes this is my daughter licking every last drop of Blue Bell ice cream. I couldn't be prouder! If you haven't had this ice cream IT IS this good! Unfortunately they only sell it in the South. I can assure you it's worth the 3 hour flight.

six months

Graham is 6 months, well more like 6 1/2. He just had his appointment and this is his stats-
17 lbs- 35%
26 inches- 38 %
Head- 52%
At least his head is always consistent.

Currently Graham has been loving bath time, wants to stand (when supported), hates being in his car seat, loves his sister, started eating baby food, has his 2 bottom teeth coming in, still won't take a Bottle, prefers his mom over his dad (I think because I have the food) and has the cutest smile ever.

L o V e

Isn't Valentine's day such a sweet day? I love this holiday, it always brightens this gloomy time of year. We had fun celebrating. We made lots of Valentines, cookies and watched Charlie Brown's Valentine. Me and Ben also got to go out on a date. It was a good weekend!

Birthday Bliss

All Sophie wanted for her Birthday was to go to Chucky Cheese, have party hats and a white and yellow cake . Her brithday wishes were very easy this year. It was a fun day. I can't believe she is Three!
